Performing Arts Center
Home to a local arts group, this new performing arts facility accommodates music and theater performances on a reconstructed pier on the Hudson River. Part of the pier is dedicated to a public park, which can serve as a venue for outdoor performances. Sheltered beneath the building’s undulating roof are a 500-seat theater, public areas and support spaces. With the park and the Manhattan skyline as a backdrop for the theater stage, as well as views of the river and the Palisades from the lobby, the project creates a stunning setting to enjoy the performing arts.
