Split by two enormous bridges and competing with other non-park uses, Randall’s Island park is not experienced holistically. The comfort stations knit the various areas of the park together with their bright cladding and faceted shape. Durable and accessible, the 4 designed prototypes had bathrooms and a mechanical room. To date, three “Information Booth” variations have been built.
