Part of the master plan for Randall’s Island, this infrastructure building beneath RFK/Triborough Bridge helps preserve the open spaces of the park. Conceived as an addition to the bridge, the building has a linear form and is clad in painted blue metal. The upper tier of the building is gray, with continuous metal louvers, a part of the building’s practical and economical design.
