This stadium and community center on Randall's Island is a regional home for the Irish American community. The stadium generates presence beside the RFK/Triborough and Hell Gate Bridges with its repetitive structural elements. The main clubhouse is visible from afar with its curvilinear clerestory windows contrasting its masonry cladding. This privately funded project located on NYC land required approval from the NYC Parks Department and the NYC Public Design Commission.
