The new storefront design restores elements of this 1902 Beaux Arts landmarked building while retrofitting windows, awnings, signage and lighting to highlight Avra Madison as the destination for authentic Greek fare and fresh seafood in the Upper East Side.
A soon to become neighborhood gathering spot for the Upper West Side. The inviting design resulted from a delicate balance of combining modern materials with the meticulous restoration of historic elements.
RZAPS is one of forty international architects featured in Architecture Today and is described as an “influential force” in practice today. The Asian Cultural Center, Washington DC opened March 28 with an exhibition of photography from Xinjiang Province in China. It was a thrill to attend the inauguration – a very satisfying moment after all the hard work.
New York New Design, an exhibition organized by AIA at New York Center for Architecture, is featuring three of our projects: Lake Isle Tennis Center, Maritime Southampton and The Cloud Atlanta.
The construction of the Asian Cultural Center in Washington DC is underway. The project features a television studio, art gallery, classrooms and office space. Completion is expected in Fall 2015.
