CB Insights HQ 2020

Two work areas and other spaces are connected by a “main street” corridor that traverses the office. The corridor provides employees areas for groups of different sizes to gather. It also connects office areas with support spaces including the cafeteria and a large multipurpose lounge. Within the largest of the two open workspaces, conference room “pods” create zones for staff and teams to interact while breaking up the vast, singular open floor plan.

The aesthetic aligns with the youthful spirit of the company and includes concrete floors, ceilings with exposed ducts, pipes, and data raceways. Patches of existing terrazzo flooring left intact are integrated into the design. New glass and metal partitions work with wood panels to elegantly contrast the bare surfaces, and lend a degree of sophistication to the design.
