The design provides for a house that can exist in a range of personalities as appropriate, serving as a solitary retreat and occasionally for social gatherings, both large and small.
The house is also designed so the children can visit and stay for prolonged periods of time while preserving privacy for one another.
The main living and sleeping quarters are on the second level. Guest rooms are on the ground floor.
The front of the main floor faces the water and is almost equally divided into an outdoor terrace and a large social area containing living, dining, and kitchen.
