The Drive Shack Randall’s Island Golf Center is located on Randall's Island Park. The center is a year-round, technology-enhanced, family-friendly recreational facility for golf, and will become an important destination for the city and a critical piece of the redevelopment effort for Randall’s Island.
The project places a 75,000 SF golf center building on 16-acres of parkland, restoring and returning open space to public enjoyment. The building has ninety-six hitting bays on three levels, and two indoor 9-hole miniature golf courses, as well as a food-service area and lounge. Environmental features include solar panels and a stormwater management system.
This project is a public-private partnership with NYC Department of Parks & Recreation and the Randall’s Island Park Alliance, and received approval from the NYC Public Design Commission.
